Junior captain Genevieve Smith poured in four goals in the Greensburg girls soccer team's win against Indian Creek at Shriver Field on Monday night. Freshman Kadence Rich also found the net from a header off a deflected shot from junior Maddie Haviland. Lily Acra finished the night with two assists. Ella Koors added an assist, as well. The defensive line for the Pirates held the ball in Greensburg's offensive field for most of the game, allowing the Pirates to remain on the attack. Greensburg fired 15 shots on goal. Sophomore keeper Madeline Shrader saw six shots on goal and worked to keep all but two off the scoreboard. The Pirates are now 2-2 on the season. They are back on the pitch against Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference rival Batesville on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
