Greenfield-Central capitalized on six Greensburg turnovers and turned them into 42 points on their way to a 57-0 win over the Pirates on Friday night. The Pirates threw three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. A number of special teams miscues by the Pirates, including three fumbled punt snaps, a blocked punt, and a kickoff return for a touchdown, enabled Greenfield-Central to put the game away early. The Pirates totaled just 52 yards of offense on the night. The Pirates (0-2) open Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference play on Friday night at Connersville.
