Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg boys tennis team finished up a dominant month of August with a 3-2 win against Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference foe Connersville. Mason McNulty at No. 2 singles, Jacob Duerstock at No. 3 singles, and No. 1 doubles pairing Jack McKinsey and Reece Beaver were all winners for the Pirates. McNulty won 7-6 (8-6), 6-2. Duerstock won 6-3, 6-1. McKinsey and Beaver won 2-6, 6-4, 6-1. At No. 1. singles, Dan Fisse was defeated 1-6, 1-6. In No. 2 doubles action, Justin Adkins and Lance Coy lost 3-6, 5-7. The Pirates are back on the court on Friday night at the Silver Creek Invitational at 6 p.m.
