Boys soccer takes down Switzerland County 2-1

The Greenburg boys soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak Saturday by defeating the Switzerland County Pacers 2-1. Brothers Cy and Jacoby Miller both scored by Pirates in the winning effort. Cy Miller got the scoring started early on an assist by John Robbins to give the Pirates a 1-0 lead at halftime. Freshman Jacoby Miller found the net early in the second half on an assist by Ethan Smith. The Pirates held on after a late Pacers goal to secure the victory. Cy and Jacoby Miller lead the Pirates in goals with nine apiece. Robbins is the Pirates' assist leader with six. Goalkeeper Braylon Hahn has 56 saves on the season and five shutout halves. The Pirates are now 3-1-1 (0-1 EIAC). They return to the pitch Tuesday at Hauser at 5:30 p.m.
