Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg football team fell behind early in Friday's game against South Dearborn and the Knights never looked back, defeating the Pirates 74-0. The Pirates, missing 11 starters due to injury, fell behind by three scores in the game's first six minutes and trailed 53-0 at halftime. Austin Cruz amassed 18 yards on 15 carries. Quarterback Bryson Abplanalp did not complete a pass, ending his night 0-6. The Knights ran the ball for 291 yards and totaled over 400 yards of offense. Reed Hungerford led the way for the Pirates defensively with seven tackles and three tackles for loss. The Pirates play again Friday on the road at Franklin County.
