Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg girls golf team saved their best performance of the year last, with a strong fourth-place showing in sectionals. The Pirates shot a team score of 421. Anne Pumphrey led the way, as she has all season, for the Pirates shooting her season low with a 93. Sophomore Mary Harmon also turned in her best performance of the year at her first Sectional with 105. Freshman Payton Bright continued with her career best at her first Sectional with a 109. Zoey Seal and Lydia Hersley rounded out the Pirates top five with 114 and 123. Pumphrey will continue on with the season for at least another week. Her 93 received low individual honors. Pumphrey will compete in regionals next week at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin.
