The Greensburg boys soccer hosted the Connersville Spartans Monday night, falling 1-0. The Pirates played a very defensive game, highlighted by the defensive efforts of senior goalkeeper Braylon Hahn, who had 12 saves. and centerbacks Adam Underhill and Jacob Schneider. Although the offense was only able to get seven shots throughout the game, the Pirate defense held Connersville scoreless in the 2nd half to keep the score 1-0. The loss moves Greensburg to 6-5-1 (2-2 EIAC). The Pirates return to the pitch on Wednesday at home against Batesville at 5 p.m.
