Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg boys soccer team hosted Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference opponent East Central on Thursday night, falling 8-0. The Pirates were without several starters and were unable to overcome a talented East Central team. The Trojans were held scoreless for the game's first 20 minutes. However, the East Central offense found the net six times before the end of the half. Both teams changed their lineups at halftime, but the Trojans tallied two more goals to end the game. The Pirates have lost three consecutive games. They now sit at 6-7-1 (2-4 EIAC). They return to action Saturday as part of a boys/girls conference doubleheader at Lawrenceburg. The boys game starts at 10 a.m. with kickoff for the girls set for noon.
