Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg boys tennis team earned co-EIAC championship honors Saturday, with No. 2 doubles pairing Justin Adkins and Lance Coy earning EIAC All-Conference honors. Adkins and Coy defeated Batesville's Owen Westerfield and Logan Young 0-6, 6-1, 1-0(4). In singles action, Mason McNulty earned runner-up honors, falling to Connersville's Clayton Rozsell 4-6, 5-7. At No.3 singles, Jacob Duerstock fell in the championship to Connersville's Anthony Struewing, 6-0, 1-6, 0-1(7). At No. 1 doubles Jack McKinsey and Reece Beaver were defeated in the championship by East Central's Ian Maxwell and Noah Mersmann, 1-6, 6-3, 0-1(5). The Pirates return to action Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Milan.
