The Greensburg boys soccer team defeated Morristown on Senior Night Thursday, beating the Yellow Jackets 6-1. Seniors Braylon Hahn, Jacob Howell, Justin Ramer, Adam Underhill, and Caleb Wright were recognized. Cy Miller started the scoring for the Pirates off an assist from his brother, Jacoby. The Pirates would hold a 1-0 lead going to the break. Cy Miller scored three more times after the half. Jacoby Miller added a goal of his own and Caleb Wright scored his first career goal off a free kick to solidify the win for the Pirates. Cy Miller's four goals made him only the third player in school history to score 20 or more goals in a season. The Pirates finish the regular season 8-7-1 (3-4 Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference). A fifth-place finish in the EIAC gives Greensburg their highest finish since 2012. Sectional play for the Pirates begins Monday night. Greensburg opposes South Dearborn in Sectional 28 on Monday at 6 p.m. at Rushville High School.
