The Greensburg girls soccer team saw their season come to a close with a 5-0 loss to Madison in the sectional held at Batesville on Thursday night. Madison found the net four times in the first 18 minutes of the match. Goalkeeper Madeline Shrader saw 17 shots, allowing five goals. Emma Hostetler replaced Shrader in the 65'. Shrader faced three shots, allowing one goal. “First I would like to thank all the fans for supporting this amazing group of young women," Coach Ryan Morlan said. "You traveled with us and made our cheer section the largest at every game. Your players are truly an inspirational group. They pushed through many tough matches and never quit. They always kept their spirits." The Pirates finished their season at 4-12.
