Greensburg Community High School

Sophomore Aly Powers scored 18 points to lead all scorers in the Greensburg girls basketball team's season-opening 63-44 win at Jac-Cen-Del Friday night. Junior Mylie Wilkison scored 11 for the Pirates followed by junior Leah West and and sophomore Mary Harmon, who added ten points each. Freshman Claire Larrison added nine points in her debut for the Pirates. Jac-Cen-Del's Reagan Hughes was the Eagles' leading scorer with 12 points. The Pirates (1-0) are back on the court Tuesday night at North Decatur High School at 7:30 p.m.
