The Pirates girls basketball team shot 32% from the floor and 25% on three-pointers in a 63-47 loss at home against Jennings County on Saturday night. Mylie Wilkison led the way for the Pirates with 21 points. Claire Larrison added ten points. Mary Harmon scored six points. Leah West added four points and Aly Powers added two points. The Panthers were led by Mollie Ernstes, who led all scorers with 23 points and Juliann Woodard with 19 points. The Pirates (3-2)open Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night at home against East Central. A JV/Varsity doubleheader begins at 6 p.m.
