Pirates' strong defense propel them to big win at South Decatur

The eighth-ranked Greensburg girls basketball team forced 27 turnovers and held South Decatur to 27% shooting in a 75-25 win on the road Thursday night. Mylie Wilkison led the way for the Pirates, scoring 21 points on 9-14 shooting. Leah West added 19 points and pulled down six rebounds. Carlee Adams added 18 points, all of which came on three-pointers with a 6-9 shooting performance from beyond the arc. Kylie Best led the Cougars with 11 points. The Pirates are now 6-2 and 1-0 in the EIAC. They return to action on Saturday in a JV/Varsity doubleheader at Connersville beginning at noon.
