Boys basketball falls to Jennings County at home

The Greensburg boys basketball team got off to a slow start at home against defending Class 4A Regional Champion Jennings County Tuesday night, trailing 13-6 after one quarter and 29-17 at halftime. The Pirates were able to close the gap, but never caught the Panthers in a 55-43 loss. Jack McKinsey led the way for Greensburg, scoring 17 points. Addison Barnes-Pettit poured in a dozen points, all from beyond the three-point arc. The Pirates (2-2) return to the court Saturday night on the road at Franklin County. A JV/Varsity doubleheader begins at 6 p.m.
