The Greensburg boys basketball team were able to cut a 13-point third-quarter Shelbyville lead to as little as four with three minutes remaining, but could not complete the comeback, falling 57-52 on the road Saturday night. The road game against the Golden Bears was the second in as many nights for the Pirates after defeating Connersville Friday night. Junior Jack McKinsey led all scorers with 26 of the Pirates' 52 points. McKinsey was the only Greensburg player in double figures. The Golden Bears hit 11 three-pointers in the game. The Pirates (8-4, 2-0 EIAC) are back on the court Thursday night when they travel to rival Batesville. A JV/Varsity doubleheader tips off at 6 p.m.
