The IHSAA Class 3A No. 4 Greensburg girls basketball found themselves in a tight 28-26 game at halftime against Franklin County Saturday night, but hot shooting after the break propelled the Pirates to a 68-50 home conference win. The Pirates shot 50% from the floor, thanks in part to sophomore Aly Powers, who led all scorers with 26 points by hitting 10 of her 16 attempts and three of her four three-point attempts. Junior Leah West added 14 points. Freshman Claire Larrison scored 12 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. The Pirates (13-3, 5-0 EIAC) are on the road Tuesday night when they travel to Brown County.
