Larrison and Harmon combine for 37 to lead girls basketball to win at Brown County

Freshman Claire Larrison scored 19 points and secured 11 rebounds while sophomore Mary Harmon scored 18 points to lead the IHSAA Class 3A No. 4 Greensburg girls basketball team to a 70-43 win on the road at Brown County Tuesday night. Four Pirates scored in double figures. Carlee Adams scored 15 points and Leah West scored 10. The Pirates held the Eagles to 37% shooting from the floor and held a +19 advantage on the glass. Brown County got off to a hot start, trailing 20-19 at the end of the first quarter. The Pirates took a 31-25 advantage into halftime, but outscored the Eagles 39-18 in the second half. The Pirates (14-3, 5-0 EIAC) are back in action Thursday when they host Brownstown Central. A JV/Varsity doubleheader tips at 6 p.m.
