West's 27 leads girls basketball to win over Brownstown Central

Junior Leah West made all 11 of her shots from the floor to score a game-high 27 points, leading the IHSAA Class 3A No. 4 Greensburg girls basketball team to a home win over Brownstown Central. West made all eight of her two-point attempts and all three of her three-point attempts. Aly Powers scored 15 points for the Pirates. As a team, the Pirates shoot 64% from the floor and 63% on their three-point attempts. Brownstown Central was held to 29% shooting and made only one of their 10 three-point attempts. The Pirates (15-3, 5-0 EIAC) return to the court Tuesday at home against Warren Central. A JV / Varsity doubleheader tips at 6 p.m.
