The Greensburg girls basketball team clinched the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference championship Saturday afternoon in a 59-46 win over Batesville at home. The Pirates were led by Leah West and Claire Larrison, who combined to score 42 of the Pirates' 59 points. West led all scorers with 23 points. Larrison hit nine of her 11 shots from the floor to score 19 points. The Pirates held the Bulldogs to 34% shooting in the game. The Pirates (16-4, 6-0 EIAC) travel to New Palestine Tuesday night for a JV/Varsity doubleheader tipping at 6 p.m.
