Greensburg senior Drew Busick hit a floater from the middle of the lane as regulation expired in Friday night's game against East Central. Busick hit a deep three-pointer early in overtime to give the Pirates the lead for good. Greensburg outscored the Trojans 9-0 in overtime to win the game 48-39. The Pirates clinched the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference title with the win on Senior Night. The Pirates trailed by four at halftime and by five at the end of the third quarter, but outscored the Trojans 24-10 in the fourth quarter and overtime to secure the victory. Busick led all scorers with 16 points. Fourteen of his 16 came in the fourth and overtime. Junior Jack McKinsey scored 13 points. The Pirates (16-7, 6-1 EIAC) head into Sectional 29 next week having won six of their last seven games. The Pirates host the sectional and open their playoff run against Rushville at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night.
