Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg boys basketball team used a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and a 12-point halftime lead to earn a 43-27 first-round sectional win against Rushville Tuesday night. The Pirates led 19-7 at halftime and 32-13 at the end of the third quarter. Greensburg shot 52% from the field and made 13 of their 17 free throw attempts. Junior Jack McKinsey led the way for Greensburg with 15 points. Senior Addison Barnes-Pettit added 10 points. The Pirates advance to Friday's Sectional 29 semifinal against Lawrenceburg.
