Greensburg girls basketball head coach Jason Simpson has been selected as one of three coaches on the staff for the IndyStar Indiana All-Stars. Simpson will serve as an assistant on the staff led by Zionsville's Andy Maguire. They will be joined by Lauren Votaw from Fishers High School. Simpson has coached the Pirates girls basketball team for a decade, tallying a 180-65 record. Under his tenure, Greensburg has won five sectionals, a regional, a semi-state, and has one state runner-up finish. The Pirates finished 21-5 in 2023-24 with EIAC and Sectional 29 championships. The Indiana All-Stars will compete this summer in three games. The Senior All-Stars will face the Indiana Junior All-Stars. Then the Senior All-Stars will face Kentucky's Senior All-Stars in a home-and-home series.
