The Greensburg girls tennis team opened their 2024 season with a 4-1 win over Oldenburg Academy Tuesday night. Mary Harmon was victorious at No. 1 singles 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, 10-8. At No. 3 singles, Kayla Kramer won 6-1, 6-2. At No. 1 doubles, Janae and Mya Comer won 7-5 (7-5), 6-0. In No. 2 doubles, Morgan Cain and Claire Nobbe won 6-1, 6-2. The lone defeat of the night for the Pirates came at No. 2 singles. Emma Kuntz was defeated 1-6, 0-6. The Pirates (1-0) return to the court Wednesday night at Hauser at 5 p.m.
