Softball's bats come alive in 13-1 win over Batesville

Greensburg softball continued their undefeated start to 2024 with a 13-1 win in five innings over EIAC foe Batesville Tuesday night. The Pirates were led by freshman pitcher Harper Adams, who struck out 14 of the 16 Bulldogs she faced in five innings of work. Adams allowed one hit and one unearned run. Adams also collected three hits on the day. Six different Pirates combined to hammer out eight hits in the win. Greensburg (6-0, 2-0 EIAC) is back on the field Thursday night at Jennings County for a 5:30 first pitch.
