Girls tennis sweeps Batesville to remain unbeaten

The Greensburg girls tennis team improved to 3-0 Tuesday night in a 5-0 home win against rival Batesville. Mary Harmon won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Harmon has only lost one set in 2024. At No. 2 singles, Emma Kuntz won 6-1, 6-0. In No. 3 singles, Adelynne Stier won 6-3, 4-6, 10-5. In doubles action, Janae and Mya Comer won 6-3, 6-1, continuing their unbeaten streak to start the season. At No. 2 doubles, Claire Nobbe and Morgan Cain won 6-2, 4-6, 10-6. The Pirates (3-0, 1-0 EIAC) stay in the conference Thursday evening when East Central visits for a 5 p.m. match start.
