The Greensburg baseball team scored once in the sixth inning and once in the seventh inning to earn a 3-2 walk-off win over visiting South Dearborn Thursday night. Senior Leland Workman homered in the first inning to get the Pirates on the board. However, the Pirates went quiet until the sixth. Senior Gavin Owens and Cy Miller both drove in runs late to give the Pirates the win. The Pirates had seven hits in the win, including two by Senior Justin Adkins. Junior Lance Coy started the game, allowing two earned runs over 6.1 innings. Coy scattered three hits while walking three and striking out seven. Owens finished the game, securing the final two outs to earn the victory. Greensburg has now won three consecutive games to push their record to 5-2 and 3-1 in the EIAC. The Pirates are back on the diamond Monday when they travel to Batesville for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch.
