Senior Hunter Springmeyer rebounded from a rough round earlier this week at Batesville's Hillcrest Country Club to fire a 73 in Saturday's Batesville Invitational, good for second overall at the 13-team event. Springmeyer shot a 49 earlier in the week in Greensburg's three-way match with Batesville and Franklin County. The Pirates finished 10th overall in Saturday's event, finishing with a team score of 346. Colten Schroeder shot an 81. Logan Simpson shot 94. Brant Acra came home with a 98. Corydon Central won the meet with a team score of 307.
