Five Greensburg boys track and field athletes have advanced to next week's regional after solid performances in Thursday's sectional held at East Central. Greensburg's Joe Hawkins and TJ Gorman advanced in the 3200m after a 1-2 finish. Hawkins earned a sectional championship for winning the event in a time of 10:06.92. Jake Hawkins advanced in the 1600m with a third-place finish in a time of 4:42.42. Carson Kilgore advanced in the 200m after finishing third with a time of 23.49. Elliott Weber finished second in the discus with a distance of 142-7. The regional will be held at Greenfield-Central High School on Thursday, May 23 at 6 p.m.
