Miller sets hat trick record in soccer's win over Jac-Cen-Del

The Greensburg boys soccer team hosted Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday night, exploding for six goals in a 6-1 win. Greensburg started the scoring off with a goal in the first minute of the game when Wyatt Yake's shot deflected off the Eagle's goalkeeper to Jacoby Miller who was able to capitalize. The next three Greensburg goals came from Cy Miller, who set a school record with his eighth career hat trick. After a 4-0 halftime lead, the second half saw two goals from the Pirates, one from Ethan Smith, and one from Owen Wheatley, the first of his career. Lucas Kramer registered two assists. The win moves Greensburg to 4-2 (1-0 EIAC) on the season. The Pirates are back in action on Thursday against South Ripley at home starting at 5:30 p.m.
