Smith's sixth hat trick leads girls soccer over Hauser

The Greensburg girls soccer team used a pair of hat tricks from senior Genevieve Smith and sophomore Kadence Rich to take down visiting Hauser on Wednesday night in Greensburg. Smith scored four goals in total, marking her sixth hat trick of the 2024 season. Senior Marissa Powers also added two goals. Rich added a pair of assists. Senior Emma McQueen, Smith, senior Sierra Coughlin, senior Marissa Powers, and sophomore Chloe Wentzel all added assists, as well. The Pirate goalkeepers faced only three Jets shots on goal. Junior Madeline Shrader faced two shots. Sophomore Peyton Powers faced one. The Pirates are back on the pitch Tuesday at East Central at 6:30 p.m.
