The Greensburg girls soccer team traveled to Shelbyville Thursday night, falling to the host Golden Bears 5-1. Sophomore Kadence Rich scored the lone goal for the Pirates, assisted by senior Genevieve Smith. Sophomore goalkeeper Madeline Shrader had 12 saves. Greensburg (6-4, 0-2 EIAC) are back on the pitch Saturday morning in the annual Battle for the Ball game at Rushville. The match starts at 10 a.m.
