The Greensburg boys soccer team traveled to Rushville Saturday for the annual Battle of the Ball rivalry game. Junior Ethan scored four goals, including three in the first half to propel the Pirates to a 9-0 win. The Pirates have won three consecutive games in the Battle of the Ball series. Rushville leads the series 5-4 all time. The Pirates took a 6-0 lead into halftime thanks to Smith's hat trick, goals from senior Cy Miller, sophomore Jacoby Miller, and the first career goal for freshman Wyatt Yake. After half time, both Miller brothers and Smith would find the net again. Assists for the Pirates came from Cy Miller, Smith, Yake, senior Sam Tuchmann, senior John Robbins, sophomore Lucas Kramer, and sophomore Bryson Chilton. The Pirates (8-3, 3-0 EIAC) are back in action Monday at Connersville.
