Greensburg Community High School

The Greensburg girls soccer team fell to visiting Connersville Thursday night by a score of 3-1. The Pirates celebrated Senior Night for Sierra Coughlin, Ella Koors, Emma McQueen, Madisyn Morlan, Marissa Powers and Genevieve Smith. Smith scored the lone goal for the Pirates, assisted by Powers. Goalkeeper Madeline Shrader saved 11 of the Spartans' 14 shots on the goal. The Pirates are 7-8 overall and 1-6 in the EIAC. They host Triton Central Saturday at 10 a.m.
