Girls soccer falls in sectional opener

The Greensburg girls soccer team saw their 2024 season come to a close with a 5-0 loss to Franklin County in the opening round of IHSAA Sectional 29. The Pirates lost to Franklin County 5-0 Wednesday night in a game played at Batesville. The Pirates end their season with a record of 8-9 overall and 1-6 in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference.
