Miller's career-high 17 not enough as boys basketball falls at rival Batesville

Sophomore Jacoby Miller scored a career-high 17 points Friday night in the Greensburg boys basketball's non-conference matchup with rival Batesville, falling 63-51 on the road. Second quarter turnovers hurt the Pirates, as a tight 15-14 game after the first quarter went to the half with a 32-21 Batesville lead. Senior Jack McKinsey also scored in double figures, tallying 14 points for the Pirates. Greensburg sits at 1-2 on the young season. They return to action Friday with a non-conference game at Triton Central. A JV/Varsity doubleheader begins at 6 p.m.
