The Greensburg boys golf team continued their winning ways Tuesday night with a 163-169 win over Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference opponent East Central at Greensburg Country Club. Abe Tebbe led the way for the Pirates with a 39, earning co-medalist honors for the match. Colten Schroder fired a 40, going even par over his last five holes. Hunter Springmeyer and Parker Phillips both carded 42s to round out the scoring for the Pirates. "We were happy to get another conference win tonight," head coach Bryce Mize said. "East Central is a pretty solid team, so this was a good test for us." "I did feel like we were a tad off, though. We honestly made too many mistakes. Moving forward, we have to learn the arm of making a bogey so we can rid ourselves of the dreaded doubles and triples. Once we can fix that, I will start to feel much better about where we are at this point in the season." The Pirates return to the course Friday night for the Decatur County meet.
