The Greensburg wrestling team earned its first dual-meet conference win of the season, taking down East Central 39-36 at home on Tuesday night. Forefit winners for the Pirates included Cayden Beagle at 108 pounds and Zach Hogue at 215 pounds. Other Pirate winners included Preston Merrit at 126 pounds, who won by a pinfall in the first period. Landin Shepherd at 138 pounds won by a third-period pin. Adam Underhill won 3-1 at 144 pounds. Aaron Maze won by second-period pin at 175 pounds. At 285 pounds, Robert Eisert won by pinfall in the second period. The Pirates are back on the mat Saturday at the Jeff Classic in Jeffersonville.
